With two of the Panthers top defensive players out (Brian Burns and CJ Henderson), what are the outlooks for guys like DJ Moore, Cole Kmet and Darnel Mooney now?
This will also be DJ’s first game against Carolina since being traded, so it has the feeling of a juicy revenge game.
Was just curious as to what everyone’s thoughts were!
Think Moore will be a solid WR2 this week.
Fields is the best athlete the Bears have at the position. He probably has a better and more accurate arm than Bagent too. However, in the games I’ve seen with Bagent so far his football IQ is much higher than Fields’s as a rookie. He might misread a coverage but he is doing a really good job of progressing through his reads and dumping passes off to his RBs or TEs when the first and second options aren’t available and he runs when he needs to. I’m not sure Fields is able to progress through his reads this year as well as Bagent is as a rookie. So I don’t think the drop off from Fields is as big as people make it out to be. Again Bagent is a rookie, he threw a bad pick last game because of a coverage that he mis read but that was against a NO defense. I’m not scared of the Carolina defense.
Sincerely, A Bears Fan
Do we have Robert Griffin III/ Kirk Cousins 2.0 situation happening?
Dude the last time I got hyped up for a revenge game on primetime, Davante Adams scored 8 PPR points.
I’m viewing this from a different perspective.
Chicago is 3 point favorites and about -160 on the moneyline tonight. There’s no world in which this Bears team should garner that type of respect (despite it being mostly attributed to home field advantage, don’t care).
I expect the Bears to play horribly, pass catchers included.
CJ Henderson isn’t one of our top defensive players
