I used to love playing Dynasty Warriors growing up. I see they have the Hyrule and One Piece versions on switch, but what is your favorite of all the Warriors games on Switch?

You can’t go wrong with any of the FE, Zelda, or One Piece ones.

HWDE - most content, best full franchise musou. Strong enemy variety. Mixed moveset quality. Great roster.

FEW - 2nd most content. Arguably better postgame mode with trimmed fat. Higher average moveset quality, weakest story. Dogshit roster.

HWAoC - good-ish story. Great visuals. Best enemy design. Worst stage design. Really shitty rail shooter segments. Bad framerate. Mixed moveset quality. Game specific roster.

FEW3H - Best overall. Best story. Best soundtrack. Great combat. Best moveset quality. Strong main stage quality, weak side stage quality. High replay value but no postgame. Game specific roster, better roster than the game it is based on.

One Piece 3 - best traditional Warriors spinoff. Good combat. Good cliffnotes story. Good roster. Great procedurally generated postgame.

One Piece 4 - best combat of any Warriors game, with added air combos. Good roster. Destructible environments. Bad story. Bad stage design. Weaker, but still good post game.

    Depends on what you want.

Samurai Warriors 5 and Dynasty Warriors 8 are great Musou games with a solid amount of content overall.

Warriors Orochi 4 has an insanely high 178 unique playable characters with their own movesets, but a forgettable story.

Fire Emblem Three Hopes (I’m currently 100%ing) has a massive story that honestly interrupts the gameplay a bit sometimes. If you played Three Houses and liked the school portions it has that plus Musou combat. Overall fun and the 3 stories will take you roughly 150 hours to beat.

Age of Calamity has the best bosses in any Musou. Officers are actually a challenge and the maps are pretty fun but it can get a bit grind.

Fire Emblem Warriors original is my Favorite Musou of all time. Perfect gameplay, runs 60fps and has tons of content.

Hyrule Warriors original is great and has an absurd amount of content but some of the worst bosses I’ve ever had to experience in a video game thay really make some battles awful
