Not a brag at all but aside from Kirk, Teddy?, Favre, Daunte and Randall (for a beautiful hot streak) we’ve done a pretty good job of running with bottom tier QBs.

The term you are looking for is Minnesota has been historically bad at developing QBs. Culpepper was not exactly developed either, which is why post-Vikings, he did nothing. He had one of the greatest WR tandems to ever play and still was very mid. Teddy and Ponder are just two recent examples of being thrown into the mix, but this is what Minnesota has always done. Try young talent, fail, replace them far too late with a veteran, try to roll with them, win enough to not get a raw talent, rinse and repeat.

As far as other teams… I mean SF for sure. Can you name their last 5 qbs? Yet they have been relevant thanks to their supporting cats for years.

Well, not sure how it works with new GMS and coaches but the franchise has been doing it so often and for so long that it might have something to do with tit.
