We beat the bucs and jags lose to the 49ers, we’re 2 games back. We then beat the jags the next week, we’re 1 game back. Our next 2 weeks are against the panthers, and the colts. If there’s ever a time to get hot, it’s now.

This season is about Levis developing. Anything beyond that that happens is a bonus. Solid draft and FA and we will be right back to competing for the division next year.

Counterpoint: If we lose to the Bucs, we move up at least one draft spot. Bucs currently have 8th pick while we have the 10th. If there was ever a time to tank, it’s now.

Nah screw that you pray for losses to reach a qb. We have ours now. Levis getting wins and good experiences under his belt far far out weights picking 2-3 picks earlier.

People saying it’s ridiculous but I’d say that Mike Vrabel has coached a midseason win streak every season he’s been here, which is why the worst the team has finished is losing win-and-in division games in 2018 and 2022.

I mean yeah, there is a path for us to win this division, but it’s a super long shot. We are entering into the easiest part of our schedule as the Jags are going into the hardest part of theirs. But unless Levis just absolutely caries the team in an incredible way, it’s super unlikely for us to catch them. We also have to lookout for Houston, Stroud is carrying them and they might be able to push the Jags for the division.

Many things can happen. But it’s far more likely for us to end up around 7-10.

This season boils down to Levis and his development.

Wins and losses are secondary at this point.

I don’t see our defense stopping the Bucs. And I certainly don’t see us running the ball against them. We might win if the passing games goes off for 5 TDs and Levis breaks the rookie record set by Stroud…
