Am I the only one glad the Bagent vs Fields debate has gone away, at least for now? Let’s go back to what the talks at the beginning of the season were. Is Justin going to play well enough to run it back? Or are we looking at potentially drafting Caleb Williams.
Super excited for the rest of the season.
Shocked listening to 670 this morning. They are crowning the Defense as being a good D instaed of a crop of dude that just survived the worst team in the league. It’s wild how far people go off 1 poor win
We false started a kneel-down.
Probably the only meeting ever to occur between the Hamon Hill recipient and Heisman resulted in the Heisman losing and getting out dueled.
So we’re absolutely not getting the 1 & 2. Panthers still have games against the titans, bucs, falcons, Packers, so it’s very much in the realm of possibility they could blow our #1.
I absolutely do not think we should be taking a QB. I’m going to assume once Fields comes back we win a few games and will probably end up in the 8-12 spot given our remaining schedule.
So what do we do in the draft? If MHJ is there I think you have to take him. MHJ and Olu is my top choice. Second choice would maybe be take Olu and Bowers? I’m not sure Bowers would fall to close to 10 though.
It was actually nice to see what the defense is supposed to look like with our secondary finally healthy and some semblance of pressure up front. Hopefully that’s the trend moving forward.
On offense it seems like the only things we have going for us lately is that the O-Line is playing pretty well.
We should’ve won this game by a lot more but Getsy continues with the trash playcalling. He’s getting carried by our run game which is more of a product of the O-line than anything he’s doing. He’s gotta get binned after this season.
Thanks for the serotonin Carolina!
Reading your sub yesterday and the rest of the season will surely pick me up anytime I’m feeling down.
It’s just nice to go on r/nfl and see the backseat GMs starting to shit on Bryce Young instead of Fields.
One annoyance is a lot of people are giving Young the benefit of the doubt–people saying he has no one to throw to and the coaches suck so it’s not his fault. I wonder where that same energy was during Fields’ last 2 seasons. 33 year old Adam Thielen is better than any of the WRs we had last year.
I’m still giving Bryce the benefit of the doubt. His HC was Eberflus mentor and his OC has exclusively been a RB coach his whole career
Bears are terrible. Panthers are terribler.
The team won ugly. We normally don’t find ways to win that way so that was good. I think its funny people complain that the team barely beat a bad team. Bros that’s how you become a great team. It doesn’t matter who you’re playing in the NFL you just find a way to win. The best teams in the league do that every week.
Im ready to see Justin with finally a decent Oline and improving defense.
This is his time to make things work for him
A Young team learning to win ugly, is Good.
In that way, it was a big win last night.
This is exactly how I feel. Last year we lose that game.
Matt Eberful and Luke Getsy BARELY beat the worst team in the league that had half of their defensive starters out. This game should have been over at halftime. We should have absolutely demolished this team. They won DESPITE coaching. I’m happy we got the W as always. But those two need to go like yesterday. BOOTY UP, BEAR DOWN AND FTP
Why is it that whenever the Bears beat a team, that team’s fans immediately want their head coach fired? I looked at the Commanders, Raiders, and Panthers subreddits after our wins. All three teams were demanding their coaches be fired mid season. And for the Raiders, that actually happened!
