“[Pistons] got a lot of good young pieces and eventually they’re gonna have to make a move to trade to build around who I feel like they’re core pieces that’s establishing themsleves—[Jalen] Duren & Cade Cunningham.” —Paul Pierce (via

*I agree with this…between the money we have coming, the expirings we have and Troy starting to feel his seat warm up after we inevidably have another <30 win season (IMO) this year. I think Troy finally takes a swing in te next 12 months and it will involve at least one, from this percieved core. I left Hayes off since hes expirng and hasn’t really proved anything and would be more of a throw in at this point.

My vote is for Ivey and I think it is pretty obvious…I also think that, that is why a lot of fans are talking right now about him and trade and what not…between how Monty has handled the sitaution and what not and the outside talk it (even nationally) I think its only a matter of time until a breaking point hits. I might be wrong, but I might be right…it could turn out that Ivey just doesn’t fit next to Cade in Montys mind and if that is the case he should be moved, sooner rather than later. I heard on a pod a hypothetical trade of JI nd Bogi for Keldon Johnson (probably be a 3 team where a contender gets Bogi and gives a pick back to SAS)

Monte has made it way worse on Ivey because he doesn’t even mention him when he’s speaking about the guard group. Always talking about how Killian can play with Cade or Sasser or how all those guys can play together, but never mentions last years best player. Ivey has so much raw talent and incredible work ethic, I think dumping him early is a horrible idea. If they gave Killian who doesn’t have near the speed, athleticism, etc. that Ivey has 4 years to make something happen, I feel like they need to do the same for Ivey.
