the only reason I care about Bogi coming back is to see if Monty agrees with you (us). It will be VERY telling if he puts Bogi at the 4 and Stew on the bench OR Bogi at the 3 and AT on the bench. For as bad as AT is at the 3 ball I don’t think you put his hustle and defensive versatility on the bench, personally. I am afraid that this core though cannot be the long term core…I don’t see how you can have Duren and AT out there at the same time as two literal non shooters coupled with Ivey and Cade (neither have shown to be really good 2pt shooters yet) even if you had Steph as the 5th with them.

tbh there isn’t anything they could “say” that helps. Gores needs to DO something, namely fire everyone in that FO.

I havent been impressed but I also don’t think you can go from winning as many games as he did to being the worst coach in the NBA. At worst he is/was an average coach who had a great team…still an avg coach who was a “culture setter” by all accounts. The issue may be in pert him, but I think if/when something changes it needs to be the guy the entire world agrees has put together a roster that makes 0 sense.

• look what Miami does…they win on the margins. The kid they drafted this year at 19 looks AWESOME, add guys like Strus, Caleb Martin, Vincent, etc. a good FO makes whatever hands they’re dealt work. I would bet on Burks, long term since he has a track record of it but I would sit his ass down on games he is showing hes cold because of he isn’t hitting shots hes doing nothing. Problem is, like you said, Sasser isn’t shooting either- so bench him for who? Hayes should be sat, Sasser given his mins at the 1 and Burks at 2 until/if Monte comes back in my opinion.

Toss up, depends which GM is better suited to navigate their team through it and I dont know enough about theirs to think he/anyone could be worse than Weaver. Least they have a semblance of a balanced NBA roster.
