I typed Ben Jones in the title. Damn autocorrect.

Earlier this year Jones failed his physical and the Titans gave him a choice of retirement or being released. He chose to be released and as far as I can tell hasn’t signed on anywhere.

I’m thinking it might be worth our while to fly him in for a physical and sign him if he passes. He’s 33 now, but the guy might have a little left in the tank if he’s healthy. In his prime he was Pro Bowl caliber.

If he were merely serviceable after getting in football shape and learning the playbook we could move Karras to LG and sit Volson and theoretically be better at two slots for the stretch run…

    God forbid something happen to Ted, but until something does, theres no reason to sign a backup to the backup center
