Lou’s ability to adjust is still there. What isn’t there is Bates and Bell.
Yep been obvious since day one. The physical talent is there, but the recognition and tackling haven’t arrived yet.
I don’t know where the problem is, but I will note Brian Callahan had no previous experience as an OC and we already fired Jim Turner and now we’re thinking of firing Frank Pollack who both have quite a bit of experience and worked for other NFL teams prior to the Bengals.
Are we just that unlucky or are we looking at the wrong problem?
I’m guessing midway up about the 20 yard line
Would have to find an old stadium map I guess to make a perfect comparison
Holy cow!!!
I wonder how that compares with the growth in player salaries…
Haven’t made it to a game in awhile living hundreds of miles away. What does a comparable ticket run now?
For his career Andy threw 246 TDs vs 144 Ints. I’d have liked that ratio to be closer to 2:1, but on the whole he was an above average NFL QB. Not elite, but still better than a lot of others we’ve had.
My biggest complaint was when he was asking for Peyton Manning money. No damn way was he worth it. The franchise should have said thanks for what you did in Cincinnati, but it’s time for you to find out what you’re really worth on the open market, then drafted their next QB.
Might seem hard assed, but the rapidly expanding ticket prices and paid streaming deals necessary to pay the players are going to price Joe Fan right out of the stands.
This is a very winnable game. Jake is good at escaping the pass rush and throwing on the run. The defense has to step up and doubly so with Can Taylor Britt out, but we can win this one.
If we beat the Stoolers this week, it’s a great season! Tear 'em some new ones, Bengals!
When you see Mixon getting popped deep in the backfield before he hardly takes a step that’s kind of to be expected. Go back and watch the last game. He looked damn good breaking tackles against the Ratbirds since he was actually able to get up a head of steam before contact.
I like AJ, but Browning showed enough to earn the first shot at the job.
Actually, based off what I saw in the Ravens game, I think Browning is even more mobile than Burrow. He just isn’t as accurate and even in that area he isn’t bad.
With our luck it would be Justin instead of Olumuyiwa
Back in the day if we went 1-15, we’d find hope if the win was a late season victory over the hated Stoolers…
Bring them on!!!
Yes. I just hope he finds a good woman who understands him and his single mindedness to be the best
Boomer thought he was going to do it, but I just read this…
I don’t know where the author got that number. When I looked up Cordell his RAS was 4.76.
It would depend on when McCarron mastered the playbook and whether or not the Bengals have decided to tank the season
