Friend of mine’s wife just bought a Camry “Because EVs aren’t long range”. Yet she has gone on a few 400 mile trips with us in our EV.
He’s right: EV market share has been growing steadily. It’s market share that’s most important, since that compensates for the general ebb and flow of the overall new vehicle market. EV market share in the US has roughly doubled each year for the last couple of years.
I never considered a Toyota ICE or BEV before but that 2-door sports car is sexy AF! I hope it makes it into production as a AWD.
