Last year I posted this same question. This is meant to exclude the players who are very publicly and noticeably playing terrible football. Who on your team is flying under the radar as having a bad year?

rashaad penny. He was supposed to have been the Eagles big FA acquisition to replace Miles Sanders. He’s barely touched the ball. No one has noticed though because De’Andre Swift has been amazing.

Shaquille Leonard is playing, but you hardly notice he’s on the field.

I wouldn’t call it a terrible season but DeVonta Smith has fallen off in 2023 outside of the Vikings game. I have a feeling that’s more of an OC change thing than anything else but we’ll see. He’s had some bad drops lately.

Elgton Jenkins. PFF run blocking grade is 20 pts lower than last year. Combined with Josh Myers and Jon Runyan also doing badly (they all have sub 50 run block grades), the Packers run game is a disaster

Well kinda Hutchinson. Huge expectations and he’s been just not that effective. Can’t stop any runs either.

KJ Osborn. Had that amazing game vs the colts on Christmas Eve and just disappeared ever since.

Not sure if it’s totally quiet, but not enough is made of how atrocious Tee Higgins’ per-target numbers are. Only DeVante Parker and Michael Thomas - two pure possession-type and jump-ball receivers - have averaged less than his 2.1 yards of separation (according to Next Gen Stats) and only caught 38.9% of his TOTAL targets, which just a 28.7% contested catch rate.
