My girlfriend recently got into gaming and I got GTA5 for the PS5 on sale. Watching her play it I forgot how good that game was, still some of the best dialogue and most realistic interactions (I’ll play tennis with Lamar all day) and with the new graphical improvements it really does seem like a one-to-one recreation of Los Angeles. I still love RDR2s over it, but compared to other open worlds I think GTA 5 is still the best there is

I just hope GTA 6 can match that

Some new games just feel empty to me, regardless of how many state of the art graphical techniques they use, GTA 5 just felt right and RDR2 is the same. These games look better than games released years later.

Starfield is the best example, it just don’t look as good. They look unpolished graphically. Starfield looks fantastic in some aspects but not great in other aspects.

For sure the single player doesn’t get the praise it still should. One-to-one recreation of LA though? Can’t imagine enjoying this game that much

Because there’s still a massive desire for great single player experiences. There always will be.

My biggest hope for gta 6 is that they add more to single player over time instead of just the online, it was frustrating they did nothing with single player on Gta 5 afterwards.
