I think it is – but I am interested in hearing others opinion.
If we make the lottery again this year – do you think the front office deserves another year of reloading and why?
For me, I don’t necessarily see what would change next year considering the vision of the FO if we fail to make the playoffs. What I think we need (shooting) clearly doesn’t seem to be a priority.
It’s trade or get fired season for Weltman. If he won’t trade a legit guard for this team i will fire him.
My expectations have always been play-in, and realistically a loss in that.
If we don’t even make the play-in, then to me we’re doing something wrong and our FO will have to make a move or two to upgrade the roster.
No. It would be disappointing but I don’t think ownership will be so reactionary. Everything has indicated that this FO has the rope to rebuild the right way and, considering our injuries, I don’t think they are necessarily being viewed as being behind schedule. Mose would be fired and there would be some kind of win-now trade (trading a couple of the young guys for an immediate impact player) if the FO was being pressure in any way.
Again, I think we’d all be disappointed to miss the playoffs. But there isn’t any discernible reason to think the FO is in the hot seat. This home stretch is going to be tough but it’s a long season. We could easily be 6-2 rn. We’re going alright, and still on track on finish in that playoff range, between 42 and 46 wins imo. I hope/expect us to improve as the season goes on.
No. Not making the playoffs would be disappointing, but not by any means the end of Weltman.
There just needs to be strong improvement, hopefully that includes a playoff berth but as long as we win 40+ I’ll be happy.
I think Anthony Parker being the new GM and just having that new voice in Weltmans ear will be good for him. I think next year would be playoffs or bust.
