I just had my last track day event of the year and the turnout was amazing. Seeing people use their cars for what they were built for always puts a smile on my face. I was able to chat with some of the drivers there throughout the day. A large amount of them said that in their car groups the amount of people tracking their cars is a tiny percentage of the community. I don’t think there is anything wrong with not tracking your car, I’m more so just curious as to what is stopping you from doing it?

For clarification, I know not all cars do well on a track and a lot of modification to make them trackable is required. I’m more so talking about track equipped cars from the factory.

They’re a statement and art pieces. Tracking them risks losing their value which ruins them as an investment and status symbol. I’d be like using fine china for eating, ridiculous.

there is a difference between being able to afford the car and being able to afford to track the car, that’s 2 different levels of rich.
