So I’m curious to know how and why some of all of you came to be Steelers fans. I live in Iowa and even when I was little I was a Steelers fan. My dad, who is a Bears fans the pour soul, asked me one day when I was little. “Son who do you like for football”? Apparently my response was “I like the Steelers because they steal the ball”. Ever since then I’ve blead black and gold! Always have and always will! So what are some of your guys story. How and why did you become a Steelers fan?
I grew up in a place that was about a third Steelers, ravens and Eagles fans each. My mom bought me a Steelers jersey in 5th grade so that became my team. And then when I was in 6th grade, the Steelers beat the Cardinals for the their 6th Super Bowl, so it was easy to stick around.
