Basically title, there’s a video I’ve recorded of Starfield with this happening, but it also happens on the new RoboCop game, basically if the game falls bellow 60fps there’s this strange rubberband like effect, sometimes the effect is on the whole scene, but often it’s on parts of the game (like a specific item will rubberband or flicker but the rest of the scene stays put).
Some context: Using the latest 545 nvidia driver, on wayland (x11 straight up won’t work on my machine, thanks for suggesting it), using KDE with Kwin. Can’t use Gamescope to see if it helps as gamescope just displays a black screen whenever I try to use it outside of Lutris or Bottles, for some reason.
It seems that running the game on windowed mode helps, but I cannot try fullscreen as this game, for whatever reason, doesn’t have exclusive fullscreen (or I haven’t seen the option)
Any ideas?

Currently an Nvidia issue.
Interesting, reading through it it seems that this affects users running VRR, but my monitors don’t have this feature.
