I think if someone wants to use a linux desktop, they had at least did some minimum amount of research.
You’d be surprised
I’m looking to get a 64gb one and a 1tb nvme drive when I can, but I won’t pay more than 2500 for the combo.
Eh, I’d just tell people to add games as Non-Steam and use Protontricks if needed, way better
Go play Freelancer.
Run steam via terminal and post logs, having a problem but on Nvidia (gamescope is supposedly busted on nvidia).
Can’t wait for people in Brazil to start selling their used Decks so I can get one
See interesting software
flatpak version only
It’s the 545 driver, nvidia has not enabled support for explicit sync in this version (I read here that there are internal discussion about adding it in soon-ish).
If your game is running at the same refresh rate as your monitor enabling vsync might help, I was playing Last Epoch and was having stutters even at a higher FPS count than 60 (my monitor’s refresh rate), enabling vsync solved the issue.
I’m one of the few people that have a great experience with Wayland on nvidia, BUT since I’m looking for an upgrade AND they refuse to support the OS I use I’ll be changing to AMD, even though I do like nvidia’s software stack better.
It does? I know what I’m playing this week lmao
Have they made the AI companions viable? The friend I used to play with no longer has a computer, unfortunately.
Hey, OP, I have just tried it with the dolphin-emu
package and the latest Windows executable, restarted steam and rebooted my PC, the entry is still there.
What version of Steam are you using, flatpak or the one from the arch repo? I’m using the repo version and it seems fine.
Steam
Use ProtonDB to search for user reports next time, no one likes to have the sub flooded with stuff you can easily find out with a Duckduckgo search or whatever.
There’s also an AppImage, I hate how Flatpak handles dependencies so I prefer that.
It works well, haven’t tested my drawing tablet with it but it should work too.
Which DE? There could be a option somewhere alongside the lines of “minimum time between clicks”.
Whoa, never thought it would be big in Japan, I was thinking about this today as Hideo Kojima retweeted a picture of a Japanese person playing Death Stranding on a Steam Deck.
I’m not too savvy when it comes to these wine integrations, is it something that Code Weavers can implement in their fork of wine or is it something that you are able to use ONLY when running games directly thru wine, and not proton?
