I remember people saying he was a mistake signing and comparing him to Zeller minutes last year. He’s been stepping up tremendously on defense and he’s starting to find his role within the offense. Honestly if Spo has faith in a player, I’m not questioning it anymore

i think this fan base reacts too quickly to EVERYTHING…
Let’s not get carried away. It was just one game. The Heat were out multiple key guys now with Tyler injured and Jimmy choosing to sit out. It was the perfect scenario for a guy like Dru to step up. I am glad he did. But to say “ I think we judged him too quickly” after one game is a little much. He has to be more consistent in the chances he gets to prove his worth.
I wasn’t just one game though, he’s been solid all season long
