Like in a long list of HORRID Jets offenses, this is potentially bottom 3.
5 TDs in 21 trips into the red zone. 24% rate. Worst since Elias sports bureau started tracking red zone efficiency in 1978.
Keep in mind, the Jets QBs since 1978 included Browning Nagle, Mark Sanchez, Bryce Petty, Rick Mirer, Sam Darnold, and Geno Smith.
To consider that none of them were able to come close to this level of incompetence is probably the most interesting thing that I will remember about this season.
Otherwise they aren’t bad enough to get a top 5 pick and they aren’t good enough to be anything but depressing because the offense is just so bloody awful.
