Or at the very least cost about the same?

Is it just because of the battery tech?

They’re getting cheaper every day as sales soften. Got an amazing deal on a 2023 Ionic 6 sel the other day. 2k down, $402/mo including tax on a 3-year lease. Dealers are applying the $7500 tax credit to lease payments. A car with a 49k MSRP for the cost of a mid-tier Civic. Plus they’re including an L2 charger and a $600 installation credit, all maintenance and roadside service. 320 mile range, every futuristic bell & whistle you can think of, incredible pickup. Best car I’ve ever owned. Didn’t think I could afford one till I saw deals like this last week - literally half price. Not to mention the thousands I’ll save on gas.
