Seems KC has the easiest path to the one seed now. A quick breakdown of the current competitions schedules and ours.

Remaining tough games

KC - Phins, Eagles, Bills, Bengals, Chargers (week 18)

Miami - Chiefs, Bills, Jets x2, Cowboys, Ravens

Bills - Bucs, Bengals, Jets, Cowboys, Eagles, Chiefs, Chargers, Fins

Jags - Steelers, 9ers, Bengals, Browns, Ravens, Bucs

Ravens - Seahawks, Browns, Bengals, Chargers, Rams, Jags, 9ers, Dolphins, Steelers

KC plays only one neutral site game, and week 18 at LAC (which hopefully means nothing) and the rest are home games.

Beating Miami next week is crucial as we all know. I think Spags and the D will hold them down, and Patrick will do Mahomes things to secure our victory, and shut Reek up!

Yea Ravens have me the most concerned right now, especially with the dismantling of the Lions and that we don’t play them.

Though they often seem to struggle down the stretch of the season. So we’ll see if history repeats.

Yeah even before the Eagles game, which I picked Miami to win, I thought the Dolphins were pretty beatable even with Tyreek, who might be questionable now. Spags knows not to cover speed with press coverage; he ain’t Brandon Staley. The way I see it, put your safeties deep, drop at least one LB back in coverage to supplement the slot corner covering a cross route, and most importantly pressure the fuck out of Tua with the blitz. He’ll make mistakes and struggle to adjust.

This is an old mindset bro. Mahomes is the ultimate jinx/curse breaker. He’s broken every single one since arriving. Have you ever wore your “lucky shirt/hat/socks” and KC still lost? I have, plenty of times. None of that matters with Patrick. Cheers, bredda! Go Chiefs!!

I think the big games imo are the Fins and Bills at leat owning the tie breaker over those two teams. I think our biggest competition for the 1 seed will be the Ravens

It depends on which Bills team shows up? is the Bills lead by Josh Allen making a run for a AFC Champ Game? or is it the Bills from last weekend? We’ll see. I like having the excitement around, but honestly, the Bills, Bengals are not as well rounded as they were at the end of last year.

We’re going to get every teams best, or, at the very least, a team with a different mentality than their normal game. Playing the Chiefs puts the opposing players in a different mindset because of what this team is. Bills, Bengals, and eagles will be tough because of their experience with us. Divisional games will be tough.

Nothing is guaranteed, but hopefully this chargers game was just the beginning of what this team can and will do.
