With them almost certainly out of the playoff race now, there isn’t much point in keeping some of the guys that are not expected to be back next year. Autry, Fulton, Tart or Al-Shaair maybe? Give them a chance to win a ring, give more development time to young guys (like the dozens of UDFAs) to see how much the team could have in them in coming years, and save a little bit of cap.

Of course this has getting the best draft pic in mind. They aren’t going to get any new offensive guys to help Levis develop more, and should hold onto guys like Brewer, Moore and Henry of course to help Levis as much as possible. Could a crappier D give Levis more garbage time opportunities to learn the game more, hopefully without being blitzed like hell as much because the game’s out of hand?

Cut them to give them a chance to win? Lol. When has a team ever cut good talent just because they’re not winning.

Uh… coaches play for their jobs. Players play to contracts. Teams play to win. Even if they’re not good, they’re not just going to give up and not try.

    This is such a… take.
