I myself only played it a single time and I never see anyone talking about them or streamers playing them and they’re gonna make one for every hero, seems like a lot of dev time for something with so little hype around it.
I’ve never opened it
No
It doesn’t really feel like hero mastery, out of a mode like that I would have expected more of like a tutorial-ish of how the heroes work.
Imo the resources should be put towards PVE missions since they wont just scrap those or anything else those people can work on tbh.
The masteries dont reflect anything that will realistically happen ingame so it isnt really a mastery, more like a challenge maybe, not to mention that Winston has chain lightning which makes it worse since the hero is different there.
The worst part though is that they refuse to make bots that are similar to the heroes you fight ingame or just use the heroes from PVP.
The training bots head hitbox and hitbox in general is huge outside of the sniper one. I dont want to be negative but this mode is just silly and doesnt really help any new player because of unrealistic sceneries.
It subconsciously is just a tutorial VR mode like so many games in the past have had. Nothing ‘mastery’ about it, and time trials are boring.
Did want the title but seeing how someone did the tracer one before I just cbf memorizing everything to do the same thing they did.
Not one bit, same with endorsements and other ego pandering bullshit.
I’m interested to see what they do to Genji’s course
I’ve tried the first 5 once (rein a bit more) but not really cared
There’s like 2 heroes they’ve made it for so far and they’ve been… interesting. I don’t play any of the heroes they have mastery challenges for though, so I’m waiting for Genji and Kiriko. Tl:dr, I’ll get back to ya on it.
i personally don’t play it but i have a good time watching other people play it.
Eskay used to grind the shit out of Winston mastery and she actually holds the leaderboard pretty steady rn.
fun to see how a simple speedrun mode can change up the pace of the game a little
Mine were way bettrr
Played it for a day, realized it’s a speedrun course for streamers, and haven’t touched it since.
Nope, ide rather them use the dev time to make a few talents for upcoming PvE
