I totally loved the first one and finished it all including the DLC. It was a great experience and one of the best games I’ve ever played.
I am still going through some older games currently, but wanted to know what the community thinks of it.
As far as I was able to tell without exposing myself to any kind of spoiler, it recieved a great feedback and some very high scores from most reviewers.
What are you thoughts about it, and were you able to finish it by now?
Great puzzles with more complications than the first one. The environments and graphics are beautiful.
Talking to the other characters is not something I’m particularly interested in. I am following the story though.
It seems a bit more linear than the first one, so far that is.
One thing I miss is all the Easter eggs and level breaking. In the first game you would find ways to sneak things out of levels or aim lasers out of the boundary. This would be used not necessarily to solve puzzles but just to find Easter eggs. There were little hidden things like the crowbar from Half-life or a reference to Minecraft. Then there’d be an entire hidden jetpack and a frozen yeti. It was great.
I haven’t seen any of these types of things in the sequel, just Sphynx puzzles.
