Speed running is the main point of the game. Just ignore the cutscenes.

Talking to the other characters is not something I’m particularly interested in. I am following the story though.
It seems a bit more linear than the first one, so far that is.
One thing I miss is all the Easter eggs and level breaking. In the first game you would find ways to sneak things out of levels or aim lasers out of the boundary. This would be used not necessarily to solve puzzles but just to find Easter eggs. There were little hidden things like the crowbar from Half-life or a reference to Minecraft. Then there’d be an entire hidden jetpack and a frozen yeti. It was great.
I haven’t seen any of these types of things in the sequel, just Sphynx puzzles.
earwig20BtoGaming@level-up.zone•Game you love in theory but not actually playing?English1·2 years agoHitman. It’s a beautifully put together puzzle game with brilliant social stealth aspects. Not to mention it can be quite funny.
The gameplay just doesn’t click for me. I enjoy Dishonoured-style stealth but not this.
Nevertheless I appreciate the package they’ve put together.
