It was bound to happen.

We are an absolute pathetic, embarrassing, disgraceful pile of trash that should be stripped of calling itself a professional football team and continue to scam people of their hard-earned money. We are the laughing stock of the National Football League. There’s no right number of bullshit motivational speeches you can give to a bunch of grown ass men to get them to believe in you after you go 2 and fucking 8. Not only are we 2 and 8, but if any casual NFL fan had the displeasure of watching this team, they would be surprised that we won two games.

The wide receivers are pissed they aren’t getting fed the ball. The defense is pissed that they make stops and have to right back out there to do it again because this offense once again went 3-and-out. The whole team is pissed that we are so incapable of scoring a single touchdown in a 60 minute football game. There is literally nothing that Brian Daboll or any other coach for this team can do to keep every player on this roster focused unless they can turn things 180 and start winning games and put some fight in this team. But that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Players are going to start checking out. Media is going to continue to absolutely shit on this team. There’s nothing we can do midseason about this horrible roster. We just need to look forward to the offseason and figure out how the fuck we can fix this mess.

I’m not going to call for Daboll or Schoen’s jobs and I still think anybody who does is thinking irrationally, but they need to learn what they could have done better in the previous two offseasons and fix this shit. This offense absolutely needs a rebuild, and it starts with the Quarterback position and the offensive line.

Daniel Jones is just not it and that should be clear by now. He does not fit the “Smart, Tough, Dependable” slogan that this regime constantly preaches. He is certainly tough, but he isn’t dependable as he’s been injured every single year but 2022 with two years being season-ending and he does not make many smart decisions on the field. As much as I hate the way he went out, that should have been his last snap as a starter.

Bobby Johnson also needs to go. This offensive line is completely different from when Judge was here and I’m very sure he had some say in which guys he wanted. I have never seen a group of athletes be consistently unprepared and be a complete liability to a team the way this OLine is week in and week out. They get beat so easily in 1-on-1 matchups, they cannot execute simple stunts, they cannot identify a blitz, hell they can’t even give the slightest attention to a free rusher. There has been zero improvement all season long, and this guy has absolutely zero excuses to put these kinds of performances out there for how much we’ve invested into his position group.

We also aren’t committed to a lot of our starting weapons after this season. We could move on from Slayton, Hodgins, Barkley, Shepard, and Waller if we wanted to. Not saying we should, but we can if we want to.

Offense starts with the quarterback. If we can secure a top 2 pick in the draft, we are in a great position to completely change the identity of this team. We also need proven, quality, leader veterans on both sides of the ball. Snap count wise, we’re one of the youngest teams. Specifically, in the receiver room, OLine room, and DB room.

Go Big Blue.

It’s just the reality of the situation unfortunately. It’s easy for us fans to chalk this season up as an L and look forward to the future. I am still bought in on Daboll and I like what Schoen has been doing and to be honest no matter how bad this season gets I think the Giants have a bright outlook going forward.

For players it is entirely different. This game is their livelihood. Constantly putting up duds like this sucks for us to watch but for them it means less money at contract time. They have a very small window to play this game and make that money and wasting a year of their career on a shit show like the Giants has to be frustrating.

I am a little worried about the locker room imploding, because if Daboll loses the support of the locker room we are truly back to square one.
