I thought a lot of it came down to scheme. And some bad officiating thrown in. When it was 31-24 Lions, they flat out stopped them at the goal line three times, with the questionable call on Cam Sutton for holding. That was a lousy call and it was 4th down, the Lions should have gotten the ball on downs, but instead the Chargers were given more chances to get in. It’s ludicrous for people to say we can’t even beat the Bears with our defense, Dan Campbell’s not going to allow the defense to cost us games. He just won’t.
Are we so accustomed to losing that we can’t take a win? We have to wring our hands and borrow trouble by anticipating things that have not even happened yet? This was one hell of a victory on the road, let’s savor it and trust that Campbell will get it cleaned up.
