Big mistake by Fangio and Elway, but what else is new. Jeudy was #15, Lamb was #17

As already mentioned Jeudy and Ruggs were both ranked above Lamb. I think when it comes to top prospects like that you start looking for miniscule difference and to me that difference came down to school. Bama had a better track record of WR success than OU at that moment. It’s hard to shake the school stigma sometimes, see Mahomes and TX Tech

Reminds me of when we took DT over Dez Bryant except this time it worked out for the Cowboys instead of us. Although I’d say Dez was much more productive than Jeudy ever has been.

I said this to my buddies during that draft. “Taking Jeudy over Lamb was a mistake”. I was quite upset the rest of the night. Sometimes you just know.

Dak’s greatness is debatable, but I think we can all agree that he’s at least good to very good. I have no reason to believe that Lamb would be doing the same thing in Denver.

Lambs team situation is a million times better than what Jeudy got drafted into.

Lamb at least has had a decent QB throwing him the ball with Dak. Jeudy has had a QB carousel with lock, driskel, Hinton, Rypien, Bridgewater, and now a mostly washed up Russell Wilson. Plus he’s had terrible coaches in Hackett and shurmur calling plays. The situations are not nearly the same

If Jeudy ever goes to a team with a good QB and smart play caller I could see him feasting.
