I know Fred is supposed to be the better player but man the game seems a lot easier for Dennis with his size. The blow-by layups were amazing to see.

I’m not sure if it was the nerves but the only negative (for me) this game was seeing Gradey Dick pass up great looks in transition to shoot the ball and instead drive baseline and get out muscled or go for a crazy reverse lay up. Hopefully next game and onwards he lets the ball fly, only way we (and him) can see if he can be an NBA sniper is actually let the ball fly and be a bit more selective when to put the ball down on the floor. I respect the willingness to make an extra pass, but we drafted him to be our best shooter.

Yeah I think I’ve seen enough Malachi Flynn for a lifetime. It was clear in the preseason when he looked outclassed by other teams 3rd stringers that he is not an NBA caliber player. Get a real backup pg, if Schroder goes down we are fucked.

Honestly watching the game back that was a really ugly game. It’s really clear that despite all the passing they really are pretty much exactly the same team on offense as last year. A team that cannot score in the halfcourt and relies on transition and teams being lazy and not getting back to score consistently.

Nice win but darko needs to play Jak more than 23-24 mins. He’s too valuable as a rim protector.
