The questions I have:
-
Why does Mazzulla STILL seem to not know exactly when each guy is going in? The PP / Holliday / White minutes were just puzzling.
-
For that matter, Joe: call a timeout. I wonder if anyone has ever thought about this before?
-
Jaylen, man. Wassup?
-
Pains me to say this, but when will the Hauser Experiment be over? The one thing we need from him - a couple of open 3’s a game - were beyond his capabilities. He also was getting absolutely pimp slapped on D.
-
The reversion to hero ball as our lead evaporated is deeply troubling. I say “deeply” because, by now, you’d think Tatum / JB would have learned that It. Doesn’t. Work. They are still pounding square pegs into round holes. COUNTERPOINT: Tatum dishing to to Jrue at the end of Q4 for the key layup was the exact development that needs to happen.
-
I feel like Mazzulla is still in a weird twilight where he doesn’t do wrong things - he doesn’t do things he needs to. It’s the inaction that’s wrong. I saw him improve last season - he really needs to get better.
-
Realistically, it’s going to take ~30 games for everyone to develop on-court chemistry.
-
Ugly win. Porzingis and Tatum are elite but we need more from JB consistently.
why did the knicks suck so bad at shooting fts?
#ONCE AGAIN… TOP O’ THE MORNING, MOTHERFUCKERS!
All 5 starters made winning plays in the final minutes. That’s what you love to see. Jaylen and Jrue with defense and rebounds, Jayson and Buffalo on the scoresheet, and Tingus Pingus doing EVERYTHING.
A lot of familiar problems still lingering from the playoffs but it’s only game one. Hoping things will change as the season goes on
What’s crazy to me is that Dallas, and better yet Luka, could not coexist with KP. And not just the offense, KP looks like Brook Lopez on defense.
What’s crazy to me is that Dallas, and better yet Luka, could not coexist with KP.
Luka and KP ran the most efficient offense of all time (up to that point) in the 19-20 season. KP didn’t struggle in Dallas after miniscus injury in year 2. His movement is key to his production.
Ordering my Zingus jersey now
The Pingus is here boys and I have only 1h30 of sleep now fuck me
LOVE AND TRUST KRISTAPS PORZINGOD
Tingy P is my hero
Way to get a dub when we weren’t playing our best. Zingus is a stud. This team still needs time to gel. The offense will get more fluid. As long as we’re playing our best at the end of the year.
Jrue really made me forget about Marcus. KP made me forget about RobWill. I’m not saying that’s fair but it’s what happened.
Nobody gonna talk about JB’s team high 5 assists
THATS WHO TINGUS PINGUS IS
