That was uninspiring and unsurprising
Billy left OKC because he didn’t want to be apart of “rebuild”… well that rebuild just fucking embarrassed your veteran team at home. Lol the basketball gods might really hate us
tbf they wouldnt be in this position if they didnt hit the lottery with shai
First quarter was very good, thought things were turning around
LaVine was attacking the rim, DeMar was doing his thing, we fed Vucevic in the post, Carter and Craig were making plays, etc etc
Then offense went stagnant, OKC got hit (and we kept helping on drives instead of focusing on the shooters) and it all fell apart
Just one game but not a good look to start, especially from Donovan. Way too many transition threes, we aren’t even worried about the drives but we keep helping too much, we don’t attack the paint when they don’t have holmgren in and don’t feed Vuc cuz nobody wants to make an entry pass. I don’t get it.
Back to back years getting embarrassed in the home opener.
