Without a doubt, I will take the win. But, the Heat found themselves in an unnecessary situation at the end of game(blowing large lead) in the same manner they’ve done for too long - no matter who graces a Heat jersey.

In my opinion 20-25+ 3 attempts is simply too much. And - for me, it isn’t always the amount that frustrates me but the timing of them. The Heat often begin to settle for 3s at the wrong possible times - and it’s detrimental to them each time. No, it doesn’t always lose them games but it makes games a lot more difficult (like tonight) unnecessarily.

I know this is what the NBA has become in the years since the rule changes and raise and over-dependence in worthless analytics. But it’s just frustrating because this just isn’t the Heat way.

Time to focus on the next one.
