I mean yeah ofc toxicity goes down, if you remove a communication feature, your removing a way for people to be toxic. It goes hand in hand.

According to developers the Best way to avoid toxicity, is to not type in chat. I cannot banned if I don’t write anything after all. And luckily there are pings so I can interact with my teammates.

But they also said that the best way to to avoid toxicity, is to type in chat. So what is going on now?

200 years of game development at its finest. That’s what.

Every change made to reduce communication in the game will result in positive trends from that survey, because communication on average in LoL is negative. So, they’re going to just keep removing communication from the game and pointing to the survey like, “Aha! Progress!”

Toxic people are just going to choose different pings to spam. Or just type in chat. Please give us more incentives for positive communication, and please focus on the things that really matter when it comes to toxicity, the things that we can’t just mute away anyways.

Changing pings were a horrible decision and I believe community is giving its voice to revert it.

I mean surely for high elo everyone watches map pings and tehy really able to communicte just with 1 ping. But majority of palyers aren’t even close to high elo at all, let alone to this level gameplay. They don’t hear 2-3 pings only 4-6. They doN’t recognise less, nor understand them.

In the form in which the question about pings is asked, there is probably only one kind of understandable answer that is not representative and does not reflect the opinion of today’s player base.
