Was talking with my friend the other day and I think Luka could and will go down as the modern-day offensive goat. Aka excluding wilt. Who is his competition? I don’t think this is a bad take. Thoughts?

Could he? Yes he could. But Curry, LeBron, MJ, Kareem, Durant all played and scored at high levels deeep into their career and some of them are still going. No telling how long Luka will play, and longevity is a huge part of this discussion. Plus Jokic is right here with him right now, his game should age like wine, and he already has 2 MVPs and a title.

wilt is not the offensive goat. the point of basketball is to win. you win if your team scores more points than the opposing team. Wilt was never very good at making that happen. he was very good at scoring relative to his era, but basketball is a team sport, and wilt as a #1 option was always a loser.
I think he can pass steph and kobe but 10 scoring titles is just too high of a mountain
If he beats lebron’s longevity. He might be able to coz his rise to stardom was so early.
