That kind of thing endears a guy to a team. He was obviously frustrated after the 49ers game, and rightfully so. He wasn’t getting the kind of looks he deserved, and the whole offense looked much worse than they should have. Now, we’re feeding him the rock a lot and we’re doing things to let him get a record. 5 weeks later, I think he’s very happy to be on this team again.
Not only does he have the record but we have a string of games where it is very reasonable to think he can stretch that record out again. We play the panthers next, then commies, Seahawks, eagles round 2, bills, dolphins, lions, commies round 2
