I think the issue is the houstonians that are still very much attracted to the memories and culture in the city. Luv ya blue may have originated here, but if there’s one thing Cal, Demeco, or any of the higher ups have shown, it’s that bud Adam’s can keep it. They’re here to carve their own path. Once the winning starts, people won’t pay as much attention to the oilers thing, because we are still young. A lot of us are older than this team, and they’re still carving out their place. They’re on track to be like some past teams (2019 👀), and the entire culture shift Demeco has had already, this city will be ready to rally behind him and find a new shade of blue to wear with pride. But, that’s just an outsiders perspective
