I just don’t set expectations. This season especially has taught me (and probably many) that it really is any given Sunday. Winning games many thought were out of reach with a handful of our starters out. That’s just good damn coaching.

Anyone that had high expectations, not high hopes, but actual expectations for this year doesn’t know football.

Things you have to remember as a Vikings fan:

    1. There’s no such thing as a comfortable lead.

    2. The game is not over until the clock hits zero and the officials have agreed that the game has ended.

    3. Murphy’s Law dictates pretty much everything related to the Vikings.

    4. Whenever good things happen, terrible things will surely follow, and vice versa.

I might sound like a negative Nancy, but being a lifelong fan has me completely devoid of good expectations.

That said, this season has been pretty great to watch. I could’ve done without the first 3 games, but eh…
