Which makes no sense when we look at how the Vikes drafted from 2016 on, it was almost all O players. From 2016 to 2022 we had 1 D player who contributed that was drafted in the top 3 rounds. KOC enherited a solid O and a aging bare bones D.

When KOC was introduced in LA both SM and KOC said KOC’s job was to get the running game and Goff back on track, this is why.

Zimmer views the O from the lens of D guy so he knows what makes things tough on the D. Being predictable is the down fall for O’s.

Why people label Zimmer “conservative” is beyond me, his run pass ratio was NORMAL! and exactly what McVay did in LA until Gurley got injured. All coaches play to the strengths of their teams, we lack a true running threat so we are pass happy and PREDICATABLE.

When KOC was brought to LA his public goal was to help Goff get back on track and get the running attack back, two objectives he failed at.

IDK I think Tom Brady would be better or Peyton Manning or Drew Brees or a ton of other QB’s. Kirk’s big accomplishment seems to be, not being a criminal, which most people aren’t.

The Bills and us are in two totally different situations, the current Bills are like the 2019 Vikes, the players see the window closing and are getting frustrated with the missed opportunity, the Vikes are a young team on the path up with low expectations right now. Dropping a few games due to having rookies or a few fumbles isn’t going to create locker room issues at this stage.

Winning kinda helps.
