Trading three 1st’s for one guy who is likely washed or overrated is just an awful move. Fuck the embiid window, we’ve got maxey for 15 years. Keep your fucking draft picks and just make good picks. We know morey can do it. We all know morey wouldn’t have traded mikal for zhaire or taken fultz over tatum.

My friend. It seems as though you are new to Sixers basketball. First of all, welcome. Secondly, I would just Google the Sixers picks during the process years. You may find that trading picks for players is sometimes preferable.

Amen. So many silly people here throw around trades like something always has to be happening. Breathe, sit back, and enjoy for a while. There’s no one that we need, is on the block, and that we wouldn’t have to overpay for anyway.

I think if a solid complimentary piece is there, you give up a pick. It’s not just the Embiid window, this team looks like a championship contender, you gotta cash those chips. On the other hand, teams like Spurs stayed competitive for a solid decade plus by making smart picks and developing unheralded guys. We have a window for a Spursian run if we play our cards right. It’s a pretty cool place to suddenly find yourself in. So I get not wanting to fully sell out either.

“buy more tickets” says lottery winner. “it worked for me”
