And 2 of those flags were neutral zone infractions on Kelce’s off-ball hand.

Yes, when Embiid is resting and Reed gets into foul trouble, or when both are in foul trouble, or when Embiid is out for a game and Reed starts. He’s the 3rd best center on the team, and frankly may play a little better than 3rd, but he’s still rough.
For the last 3 years, statistically, Embiid should have been passing more and Jokic should have been shooting more. This year it seems Embiid is learning that.
A good example of what happens when you don’t foul.
Don’t blame the Sixers then, blame the players that keep fouling him.
They’re not all cheap by any means, either.

Reed has been great at stalling and causing chaos since last year. Springer shows that same drive. The idea is for Reed to chew up 6 minutes in the 2nd and 4th quarters with the least possible negative change in score, and they eat up the minutes very well. Creating loose ball scrambles, blocks, steals, all that eats up clock without moving the meter much, and gets Embiid time on the bench.
There are different types of knee injuries. Some injuries are only likely to cause pain. Other injuries, however, may lead to more serious injury and loss of use. For example, if the issue is a bone bruise, water on the knee, arthritis, or even shin splints/bone spurs/fragments, I don’t think it would be considered a required injury to list. If it’s a moderate sprain, partially torn ligament, torn muscle, or proper fracture of any sort, that’s likely what they’re looking for on the list.
Such a thing no longer exists. There are some podcasts, but doing quality coverage for the entire league is hard for a small team to do so they usually just focus on a few performances or games.
Watch out for AI-generated content; a lot of the national outlets, local outlets, AND podcasts have started using it to write copy, and that is where a lot of blandness and inaccuracy comes in.
I respect your opinion regarding Maxey; I only ask that you let Maxey know.
Amen. So many silly people here throw around trades like something always has to be happening. Breathe, sit back, and enjoy for a while. There’s no one that we need, is on the block, and that we wouldn’t have to overpay for anyway.
The points will come. They always do. Did you know that there are players on the Grizzlies that score points?
Pretty sure #3 has something to do with consent…
It is unclear presently if a trade is necessary at all.
Step 1: Clean up the refs
Step 2: Protect the fans (i.e. stop teams from tanking & players from disrupting seasons for contract/trade demands)
Step 3: Take away a time out from each half and convert normal commercial breaks into split-screen ads
Step 4: Set a high minimum requirement for in-season coverage time during cumulative highlight/reporting/commentary shows (total, morning, and primetime) for media outlets that license highlight clips (25%+ during regular season, 40%+ during postseason)
Step 5: Push/subsidize more substantial endorsements (both timewise and brandwise) for the top players, especially those that overperform on the court but don’t do a lot of ads
Yes. The value was in the picks. Gave up picks to get Harden; get back more picks to trade him away.
I think it’s actually worth it to move these picks into better FR picks sooner. Trying to engage aging veteran guards that command max contracts in the short term is not going to position us well at all for the next decade; having some youth is essential to keeping a franchise in contention.
All Morey needed to claim victory was 2 firsts. He got more. I’m happy.
I always envision Jokic and Embiid as Al from Police Squad!. We are but insects in their world.
