    AFC is way too competitive this year. I think we finish 8-9 or something like that realistically. The only saving grace is Staley and TT go, and we revamp the defense

    …and? This team doesn’t have a legendary RB and TE, and the defense is worse than trash. They’re the grime and juice at the bottom of the dumpster. Herbert and the offense have to play completely flawless football NOT to win, but just to have a chance and pray that the defense does something.

    I might be able to get on board with this mentality if players and coaches weren’t being paid millions of dollars to do their job. But since they are, the “hey guys hang in there you can do it!” type of thinking is ridiculous to me.
