Seen a few posts on this subreddit of people claiming that they were “wrongly” suspended, only to admit they used language like “ggez”, “diff”, or even “you’re just bad”.
It’s really not that hard to just be friendly, period. If you stomp the other team just say “gg”. If you’re so compelled to let people know you had an easy time then you can say that in team chat. There’s little no reason to try and put someone down, especially in a video game.
If you wouldn’t do it in real life then you shouldn’t do it in game.

I always say before the round starts “First to die likes big buff men” and then half the lobby proceeds to jump off the nearest pit. I hope no one reports me one day. It’s always fun to see a race to commit unalive.

I try to report people using actual slurs and hate speech and I never get the notif that they’re banned lmao
I’ve had a message in my left corner for a few months now which says my VC is being recorded for reports calling VC abuse… the pretty weird thing is I never use VC except with my stack, which are irl friends who probably never reported me considering they do all of the shit-talking for me.
I probably haven’t been banned because Blizzard won’t ever find anything in my VC, by which at thispoint they probably aren’t even looking at me anymore
I hate all of you 0.01% playerbase of weak nerds that live on this sub. I have 5 overwatch accounts and might make more now that’s GGEZ! Blizzard has made the game report system extremely sensitive and harsh so we buy skins and the heros on other accounts. It’s always about money. It’s definitely not about the community.

No I don’t like it. I made an alt account and was grinding those 50 games to unlock comp. All I ever played was zarya for fast queue times. Account got banned after three days. No reason was given in the email id. Text and VC off and people just hate getting dumpstered on I guess. I put in a support ticket and got a generic reply back.

I think bans over actual slurs or extreme toxicity are fine, but light smacktalking should be allowed. This isn’t tennis, people shouldn’t be banned over gloating
I’ve been getting a few “Thank you for the report” messages but apparently not when I reported someone for bluntly cheating
Yo I like to talk friendly trash to the opponents during the game, and I’ve never been reprimanded. So people getting suspended or banned are probably super toxic.
