whatre you gonna do? rj, who may just be our best player this season, was out. we had 0 days of rest from last night’s game against the hornets. the game was on the road, too. i cant blame us for this loss. under better circumstances we beat the celtics.
3rd b2b in first 10 games… thanks Monica for reminding us how screwed we are to start the season
That just helps because things will get easier.
Fuck these schedulers
You gotta blame thibs rotations on the game.
We were up on the first half thanks to Julius hitting his threes but that’s largely unsustainable and Brunson being great.
But the second half the size issue, the over reliance on Hart, Randle regressing, plus defensive issues just killed us.
Like IQ is our 4th best player why is he playing less time than Grimes and Hart? He’s been fantastic this year playing with the 2nd unit playing in a flow, this game he could never get going because of the rotations we had.
Even if you bring back RJ in a 7 game series you would need sustained great games from your big , I do wonder if you need more size or just another defender to win.
Randle is the definition of a statpadder. Decent box score (if you ignore his atrocious shooting) but when you actuallt watch the games - you see someone who doesnt play D, lacks effort, takes dumbass shots and does not contribute to winning.
Funny thing is all that is exposed in the playoffs. You love to see it, I’ll be there
I know that Hart is Thibs’ favorite but Grimes needs to be higher in the pecking order. His spacing is more important to our main guys than whatever Hart brings
Good game. Just came up a bit short and had stretches with no buckets against a good team. Not interested in negativity. This is a good test. Gotta make more shots against these better teams. RJ would’ve helped.
It’s funny because the regular season is so long, but we won’t even remember this loss in a month no less 4.
We need a superstar.
Watching a guy like Tatum just get into a zone and do whatever he wants, hit every shot, drive, dunk, stick threes,… It just makes you realize every team needs one of these guys.
The New York Knicks are a nice team. They probably going to make the playoffs. They’re going to be a tough out. They just don’t have that killer. Julius Randle ain’t it and either is RJ.
Why is everyone saying Hart did bad? I only watched the 1st quarter so maybe i’m missing some context but 16 points, 50% from three, and 9 rebounds is really everything you hope to get out of Josh.
Can’t win them all but this game was still annoying to lose. RJ Barrett’s been our most consistent if not best player this season.
Brunson had a okay game. Need to see him get the offense going, he isn’t making enough impact.
Randle’s stats make him look better than he actually played. You won’t fool me. Bro plays no defense and has worse handles than Jaylen Brown, it’s pathetic.
