Looking for reassurance from anyone who has watched a lot of the trailblazers in the playoffs. I get that it’s regular season, but he’s a complete liability on defense. I’m not expecting him to be Jrue Holiday on D, but he doesn’t seem to care about stopping his assignment while driving let alone playing off ball D or rotating to an open defender. It’d be impossible for him not to play somewhat better in the playoffs, but how much better is it?
Don’t bet on it. It’s on Griffin to not put so many defensive liabilities on the court at once. I know we don’t have a lot of options but having Dame, Beasley and Pat on the court at the same time is just asking for trouble.
