Halfway through year 2 and I wanna see what we all think of him so far. According to PFF he has had a 54.0 overall rating. His rookie year he finished with a 64.0 rating. If you don’t value PFF grades this year he has had 31 total tackles with 26 of them being solo and 3 passes defended. His rookie year he finished up with 82 total tackles with 55 of them being solo, 8 passes defended and 4 interceptions. According to ESPN he is on pace for 75 total tackles this year with 7 passes defended. So ho are we feeling so far?

Serious sophomore slump. Logged a 27 grade vs Tampa in a dominant defensive performance. Not ball hawking this year, out of position, and missing tackles.

Iffy might seriously need some run if these trends continue.

Perfect he is doing exactly what he should be. When I hear Kerby’s name I don’t think liability and that’s all I need from a young defender on the back end. (Besides last game but the entire defense didn’t play well.)

You say this but Campbell personally shouted him out as one of the only bright spots from that game along with Gibbs. Campbell might just have a different criteria for grading as opposed to PFF

Campbell also blamed the execution then later said it was the scheme

    Really just uninvolved.

They have him playing a lot of 1 high in cover 3 and he’s really just not showing the range from last year.

He hasn’t been awful but I feel that should CJGJ come back it will be Tracy, not Kerby that maintains starter reps
