I know it’s going to take years for most of the league’s fans to give the NBA Cup the respect it deserves, but personally I’m hype as fuck for this. Idgaf if no other fans care about it. There’s going to come a time when the greatest teams are those who won the NBA Cup and the Finals in the same year.
If a team in the English Premier League wins the FA Cup, EPL title, and UEFA Champions League, they’re considered to have reached the highest possible level of achievement. Only two teams have done that. I think something similar will take form for the NBA.
