How do you play tank against the honse? Who counters her? I think I played rein, jq and ram and I got bullied by her all three times.

Those 3 picks are pretty ineffective vs Orisa. Especially if your team isn’t high burst/sustained damage to blow her up or her backline. So her stealing your lunch money and dunking your head in the toilet isn’t a surprise.

Nothing really “counters” Orisa. She’s a strong tank after her OW2 rework and a strong all-rounder that can stand up against CC and also put CC on you with a lot of solo kill potential. Her weaknesses are moreso maps where you need vertical pressure and dive tanks that can reach them or enemy team comps that are highly mobile that she can’t really pin down.

Same thing with Zarya. She’s pretty useless against team comps that aren’t going to give her consistent charge and will pick her team apart (Genji/Tracer/Sombra + dive tanks). You don’t usually see players capable of playing this below mid-diamond though.

You have to step past this rock paper scissors thought process about OW. There are heroes that have gradients of effectiveness vs different match-ups. Some moreso, others less so. You have to understand how to identify those strengths and weaknesses.

I’m a diamond dps and tank player and usually play Winston or DVa vs her. Or I’ll pop out Zarya or Hog if my team is really getting rolled, but I’ve played a lot of hog over the years and know how to play the match-up in OW2. I don’t play Sigma much but if you do he’s probably decent occasionally too. Ball is good too but you might play in an elo that doesn’t benefit from having a disruptor like him or Winston.

I don’t play Orisa because it’s not an enjoyable pick for me. Same reason I don’t play Rein or Ram or Sig. It’s not my playstyle. If you’re willing to do so, you are probably best off broadening your tank hero pool to play tanks that are more versatile vs her (like DVa, Zarya) or play the mirror.
