Looking for tips to countering Doomfist and Sombra as a support. I don’t see Doomfist often, but when I do, he dives on me a lot (Lucio/Zen).
Sombra just appears out of nowhere. I try to boop her as Lucio, but she already has me hacked and kills me. As Zen, I’m a sitting duck. I’ve tried Moira with hit or miss success.
Any tips?
Brig is a solid Doom counter. If your team can follow up, picking Brig will ensure Doom’s demise. Otherwise, you just give yourself a fighting chance. Brig is also a decent Sombra counter, not amazing, though.
Ana technically can counter both, but without movement abilities, you can be a sitting duck.
I assume you aren’t getting dived by Doom as Lucio because if you are, you’d have to be standing still, which should never be the case with Lucio. Lucio can be a good pick to ignore a Doom.
Moira can kind of just ignore both Sombra and Doom.
Kiriko is a solid Sombra counter and is good at evading and ignoring Doom.
LW can ignore both long enough for your team to start thinking about if they give a f*ck about you. The answer is always no as a Support.
Mercy can avoid Doom by staying up in the air with super jump and glide, but doesn’t counter either at all.
