I know a lot of people are throwing out marquee names like Chase Young, Montez Sweat, Derrick Henry, etc.

Change gears. We probably don’t want to give up what it takes to land a top edge rusher. We definitely shouldn’t pay an old running back. We presumably still need a QB in the draft, so our 1st and 2nd round picks probably have to be stashed in case we want to trade up.

Teair Tart may be a solid pick up that doesn’t break the bank. He’s a 2024 free agent, appears to be frustrated with the Titans organization (who wouldn’t be), and they appear to be sellers.

He’s an explosive DT that’s used to playing NT in a 3-4. Probably more of a run stuffer than a pass rusher, but he’d be an instant upgrade over Lowry and could be signed to a relatively cheap extension. Probably something similar to what Phillips got, and that money could be offset by cutting Lowry next year.

I’d also be calling about Neville Gallimore and Justin Madubuike. Madubuike being the best pass rusher among them, but also probably the most expensive.

I think a pick swap or two would be enough to land Tart. Maybe a 4th to 5th?
