Never knew there was a pregame tournament
Boy if BOTH Batum and Embiid are out tonight, I am gonna lose it
This is why I was asking a few days ago if Embiid was likely to sit either of these 2 nights. The schedule is nasty
Can ppl start giving Embiid credit for his leadership? I just don’t think there’s many stars, especially in the NBA who has gone through what Embiid has and has somehow held his team to fans somehow also doesn’t wanna leave.
Simmons, Harden, playoff exits etc all situations that especially in the NBA, would cause a player like him to ask out but he’s held this team together.
I hope embiid plays lol id rather him play this ist game then play against the inceltics tbh buuut it would be cool if he played both. Like make this the only back to back he plays this year and im happy
Embiid questionable? cmon man we gotta take the touebament seriously
Well, let’s see if the team actually has depth, or if maxey is going to have to put up 40 shots.
There is pretty much no way to match salaries for LaVine without either trading Tobias or one of Roco/Batum. Which both seem like awful moves. Not that I want LaVine, but the salaries complicate it even further.
I hope Embiid and Nico sit. Let the bench guys stretch their legs a bit. I still think we get a dub, Indiana’s defense to poo poo. Want to see Springer D up the lesser Tyrese.
Hope everyone’s ready there’s a chance this game is even more of a track meet than the last one
I’m listening to national media people say shit like “for harden in LA to work, harden needs to start hitting catch and shoot 3s” and it reminds me of people saying “Ben Simmons needs to start taking jump shots”… like yeah, if he did the thing that he refuses to do then we would have loved that, him refusing to do it is the problem.
Ty Lou:
“We gotta push it; on rebounds, on stops, on makes; we gotta get it up quick and attack early. We can’t just fucking walk around offensively”
Welcome to the James Harden experience.
